While exploring visual directions for this film festival, I found this genre interesting in how the characters’ circumstances affect their psyche - specifically, the conflict between a human individual and a crushing system. To illustrate this relationship in promotional media: mazes were constructed to precisely envelope typography, with disorder incorporated through solid black and the occasional use of red.
